Fast throughput of items, accurate sales information and a full complement of search and operator assistance functions will improve your level of customer service as well as provide you with better management information.

The Point of Sale is designed for ease of use by untrained operators and supports a range of peripheral devices. All transactions are performed from the main sales screen, even account and lay-by customers.

When commencing a sale the operator will be prompted for a stockcode. ProBe allows three methods of entry:

Manual entry: requires the use of the keyboard or touchboard to type in the stockcode. The description, price and amount will be filled in automatically.

Continuous barcode: input can be made without the use of the keyboard. Simply scan the next item. A prompt will then allow you to select the payment method or account customer code.

Look-up screen: Type in the first few letters of the stockcode and press Enter, the look-up screen will appear. Entering the first letter only will display all stock items starting with that letter.

Select the required item and it will be placed automatically on the sales screen. The product details will be shown on the bottom slider.

Payment method: select a payment method as displayed on the sales screen. Multiple payment methods are available.

Customer display:

You can attach a second LCD monitor to your POS computer and turn it into a Customer display. The customer will be able to follow progress line-by-line, with pictures of each line item and promotional messages.
